After Newcastle (see feature Newcastle United), Christchurch is the next most featured city outside of the US on this year's Devil's blog. Following on from the recent feature on City Kids Records (Christ You Know It Ain't Easy) today's post is on the oddly captivating home recording tinkerer Annabel Alpers aka Bachelorette.
Annabel has a sound all of her own, a sound that just has to be heard to be believed. The nearest thing I can get to the normal blogger's over simplification is she sounds like long lost Mute electro popsters The Silicon Teens crawling out of Syd Barrett's skin.
